According to Baseball America, there wasn’t a better executive in baseball this year than Alex Anthopoulos.

The Braves are one of the most well run organizations in all of sports, and it starts with the man up top. He’s worked magic since becoming the general manager of the Braves, helping them to five straight NL East titles and a World Series in 2021.
In all honestly, Anthopoulos should have won this award last year for the magic he worked at the trade deadline. Without him, the Braves would still be title-less since 1995.
The actual MLB Executive award handed out by the MLB was awarded to Chris Antonetti of the Indians. Alex Anthopoulos finished second.
