The Braves only had two arbitration eligible players this year, but they were two pretty damn important pieces in Max Fried and A.J. Minter. Both of them are entering their final year of arbitration, and both settled with the Braves on a one-year contract to avoid going to court.
Per Robert Murray, the Braves and Max Fried reached a contract agreement that will pay him $15 million in 2024.

I always remind people this time of year that going to arbitration is not a bad look for an organization, and it doesn’t mean there is any animosity between the two sides. With that being said, Max Fried has gone to arbitration to determine his salary in each of the last two years, so avoiding that can only be looked at as a positive. And who knows? Perhaps it is a sign of something more long-term as he’s set to test free agency this offseason.
According to Kiley McDaniel, the Braves also avoided arbitration with A.J. Minter, settling on a 2024 salary of $6.22 million.

Both of these salaries are very close to the salaries projected by MLB Trade Rumors. Now, we wait and see if the Braves can hammer out long-term contracts with either of these players before the start of the season. Both Max Fried and A.J. Minter have been integral pieces to the Braves for years, and there’s no question that they would like to keep them in Atlanta for as long as possible.
