With the arbitration deadline passing at 1 PM, Atlanta has settled up with some key pieces already.

It’s always nice to avoid an ugly arbitration battle with key players. When Atlanta had to go through the process with Mike Foltynewicz, it wasn’t pretty and did not work out. Minter was a man reborn in 2020, and it’s nice to see him get a good payday for battling back. He was nails in his emergency playoff start. Max Fried will be much more expensive that $3.5 million when he’s eligible for Free Agency in 2025. He’s an ace, and will be paid like one soon.
