The Braves made three roster moves prior to their first home game of the season.
d'Arnaud, Flowers and Schebler will all be active for the Braves tonight. Jackson, Contreras and Sobotka were optioned to the alternate training site (Gwinnett).

Most notably, both of their catchers rejoin the team after they tested negative for the coronavirus multiple times. The two began to experience symptoms right before Opening day last week and have yet to play this season. William Contreras and Alex Jackson proved to be reliable fill-ins on short notice. However, having d’Arnaud and Flowers back should add a desperately needed boost to the Braves lineup.
Scott Schebler was also added to the roster in place of Chad Sobotka, who was called up when the Braves DFA’d Mike Foltynewicz on Monday. Schebler is another lefty bat the Braves will have available off the bench. He had a miserable 2019, but in 2017 he blasted 30 homers for the Reds in just 141 games, and in 2018 he had 17 homers in 107 games.
