The Braves have yet to make a splash this off-season, and everybody is anxiously waiting for Freddie Freeman’s decision. However, they did make their first signing since the lockout, adding catcher Chadwick Tromp.

Playing in only 33 major league games, the soon to be 27-year-old will provide organizational catching depth. Hopefully, we never have to see him, but if something were to happen to Travis d’Arnaud and Manny Piña, he’s a quality option to have.
