The Atlanta Braves are back, and while every member of the team has the same lofty goal: a World Series Championship, one Brave is shooting for the sky with his personal goals.
According to second-baseman and best friend Ozzie Albies, Ronald Acuna Jr. has set the bar early. He doesn’t care about the 40/40 club; he wants 50/50.

Acuna Jr. came just shy of hitting 40 homers and stealing 40 bases in his first full season, clubbing 41 homers and swiping 37 bags. — nearly joining the likes of Jose Canseco, Alfonso Soriano, Alex Rodriguez, and Barry Bonds as the only ones to ever reach the milestone. Never has a player had 50 homers and 50 steals in a season, but I wouldn’t put it past Acuna. Still 22-years-old, he is one of the most talented players the game has ever seen, and the only one that has a legitimate crack at such a goal.
More importantly, a big-time jump in year three could be what puts the Braves over the top, and you have to love Acuna’s enthusiasm as we approach spring training.
