Taking a running back with a top-10 pick might not be conducive to building a consistent winning program, but it sure as hell is fun. That’s exactly what’s happening with the Falcons and Bijan Robinson.
His Week 5 performance wasn’t his best, especially considering his Week 4 efforts against the Jaguars when he posted 137 yards from scrimmage. Robinson accumulated a modest 58 total yards on 16 touches. Somehow, he was acknowledged on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.
Who were the top rookies of Week 5?@PSchrags' Fabulous 5️⃣:

After posting 172 scrimmage yards in Week 2 against Green Bay, Bijan Robinson’s efforts last week aren’t even close to his career bests. Peter Schrager is more so highlighting the rookie’s tantalizing play-making ability, which, granted, is worth the price of admission.
The play that everyone is raving about is a touchdown catch from only about 10 yards out. It showcases how special Bijan Robinson is as a football player. He caught a pass from Desmond Ridder one-handed but bobbled it. Robinson then pinned the ball to his back, still with just one hand, while simultaneously turning his head upfield to evade a defender, leaving him on his knees while crossing the goal line.

Every single week Bijan Robinson does something that makes me question whether he’s human or not. The Falcons rookie is one of the most exciting first-year players that I’ve ever watched touch a football. Regardless of the play or situation, he makes everything look easy, which is a calling card of greatness.
