John Collins made his season debut on Saturday in Indiana. Albeit, it came with a minutes restriction, as he played in only 12 minutes off the bench. Nonetheless, it did not take him long to look like his old self out there. He scored 12 points on 3 of 6 shooting and finished with a net rating of +14.
On Monday, the Hawks also took Justin Anderson off of the injury report. He will make his season debut on a minutes restriction as well. The former Virginia Cavalier was drafted with the 21st overall pick in 2015 but has yet to become anything more than a role player in the NBA. Last year, he played in 38 games for the Sixers, averaging 6.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 13.7 minutes per game. On a Hawks team that lacks a lot of talent on the wing, he should have a much larger role off the bench.
According to Lloyd Pierce, you can expect Anderson to play around 10-12 minutes tonight and Collins to play closer to 20.
Lloyd Pierce said he expects John Collins to play around 18 minutes tonight.
Justin Anderson is on a minutes restriction, similar to Collins' against Indiana the other night.

Their returns are some positive news for a team that has lost seven straight and has been without their second-leading scorer for two straight games.
