The Falcons placed Ta’Quon Graham on the IR nearly a month ago after he suffered a knee injury against the Bears. And on Wednesday, Arthur Smith stated he doesn’t expect the second-year Graham to return before the end of the season.
Falcons HC Arthur Smith said he doesn't anticipate seeing DL Ta'Quon Graham back this season.
He injured his knee last month and was placed on injured reserve.

It’s devastating for Ta’Quon Graham, who was in the midst of a breakout campaign. The former fifth-round pick has quietly had a very successful season, much more effective against the run than rushing passer. He’s been critical in Grady Jarrett‘s impressive season too. With a reliable defender on the inside, Jarrett has been freed up more.
The Falcons defensive line depth is shaky at best. Atlanta has turned to a combination of Timmy Horne, who the coaching staff loves but is very clearly a reserve-caliber player, Abdullah Anderson, who recorded his first sack of the season against the Bears, and undrafted free agent Jalen Dalton. Arthur Smith and Dean Pees don’t have a lot of inspiring options. Hopefully, Graham will be fully healthy by the time training camp rolls around.
