The Falcons came into their matchup with the Texans with a clean bill of health; there wasn’t a single player on the injury report. However, they didn’t leave Sunday that way.
Kaleb McGary was replaced by Storm Norton after he suffered a knee injury. A.J. Terrell missed some time, and Calais Campbell was banged up. Thankfully, it seems nothing is serious.
Arthur Smith said McGary’s injury isn’t major, and they will have to see how things go throughout the week with Campbell, which tells me it’s not considered a long-term issue.

The Falcons have avoided major injuries for the most part but have overcome a few.
Troy Andersen and Avery Williams are the biggest losses, but the former has seamlessly been replaced by Nate Landman, who might carve out a role as a starting linebacker after going undrafted. Williams, on the other hand, is a tremendous loss that can be felt in Atlanta’s lack of field position.
Still, for an NFL team, the Falcons have been relatively healthy. Injuries are inevitable, so depth is imperative.
We will see how the pair of players progress as the week goes on.
