We’ve been talking about reinforcements returning to the Braves pitching staff for a while, but things are finally coming to fruition. A.J. Minter was added to the active roster today, Max Fried is expected to start this upcoming weekend against the Cubs, and before long, Dylan Lee could join them. He has been throwing bullpens and is scheduled to throw live batting practice tomorrow. Assuming things feel right afterwards, he could begin his rehab assignment very soon.
Dylan Lee will face hitters on Tuesday. If that goes well, Lee could head out on a rehab assignment after that.

Lee has been a vital piece to the Braves bullpen over the last two seasons, posting a 2.41 ERA over 71.0 innings. But what makes him even more valuable is the fact that he throws from the left side. The Braves currently only have one other southpaw in their bullpen, which is A.J. Minter, who is just returning to action today.
Lee last pitched on May 16th against the Rangers before hitting the Injured List with shoulder inflammation.
