The Braves leftovers have turned into somewhat of a farm system for the Angels. The Halos traded for Tucker Davidson in exchange for Raisel Iglesias, picked up Touki Toussaint after he was designated for assignment, and now they’ve added Jacob webb to the roster.
Sources: Right-hander Jacob Webb is in agreement on a minor-league deal with the Los Angeles Angels. Webb, 29, overlapped with Perry Minasian in Atlanta and has a 2.47 ERA in 76.2 career innings.

Despite some injury issues, Webb actually put up some pretty good numbers for the Braves, recording a 2.49 ERA over 78 appearances. His 3.99 FIP suggests it was a little bit of fool’s gold, and that’s probably why Atlanta designated him for assignment multiple times, but he could prove to be a solid bullpen piece for an Angels team that needs some help in the pitching department. Unfortunately for Webb, Los Angeles hasn’t been a kind place for pitchers looking to revive their careers.
