At the moment, it’s difficult to find an area where the Braves must improve, but that’s easy to say when your winners of 14 straight. The best teams don’t settle; Alex Anthopoulos proved that this offseason, and he will look to do it again ahead of the trade deadline. On MLB Network Radio, the Braves general manager said he will look to add a left-handed bat before the trade deadline.
Alex Anthopolous of the Braves just told us they’ll ideally be looking to add a Lefthanded Bat to their lineup as well as hopefully getting Rosario, and Albies back. Additionally Kirby Yates and Mike Sorowka should hopefully join them as well @braves @MLBNetworkRadio

Over the next month-and-a-half, I’ll run through some candidates that make sense; however, I’m not convinced the Braves will add anything extravagant. As things stand, there aren’t even enough at-bats to go around, and Eddie Rosario is expected to be back after the All-Star break.
If the Braves add a left-handed bat, I expect it to be someone that can serve as a bench bat and platoon with Orlando Arcia at second base, giving Brian Snitker a little more versatility when constructing the lineup. I would be pretty shocked if they targeted an All-Star caliber player.
