The Atlanta Braves filled their biggest offseason need yesterday, inking Jurickson Profar to a three-year, $42 million contract. The addition patches up the outfield until Ronald Acuña Jr. is healthy, and really gives the Braves a lot of depth when the 2023 NL MVP returns to action.
Atlanta’s lineup will already look a lot different compared to last season with so many players returning from injury. People forget just how dominant this bunch was back in 2023, featuring power up and down the lineup, and Profar adds even more pop to an already prolific lineup.
Potential Braves 2025 Lineup
- Ronald Acuña Jr.
- Michael Harris II
- Austin Riley
- Matt Olson
- Marcell Ozuna
- Ozzie Albies
- Jurickson Profar
- Sean Murphy
- Orlando Arcia

That’s a lineup with power from top to bottom. Everybody has had at least one season with 15+ homers, with most capable of hitting 20+.
It also doesn’t include the likes of Jarred Kelenic, who could play a much bigger role in Atlanta this season if he finally reaches his full potential. He’ll get a chance to show the Braves what he can offer in an everyday role until Acuña is cleared to play, which ultimately could give Brian Snitker more lineup options than he knows what to do with.
On top of that, top prospect Drake Baldwin could force his way to Atlanta at some point next season. As a catcher, he has the best hit tools in the entire organization. Baldwin has power to all fields, but he doesn’t solely rely on it to be effective. He’s not afraid to take his walks and is not a high strikeout hitter. If Baldwin proves ready to contribute in 2025, the Braves could once again have a historic offense on their hands.
