Falcons OTAs are underway at Flowery Branch, with the veterans joining the rookies, who just completed rookie minicamp. However, not all of the key faces will take part in the first phase of offseason activities. Per the Falcons head coach Raheem Morris, Bijan Robinson, Grady Jarrett, and Jase McClellan will not be practicing today.
Injury update for the Falcons: No Bijan Robinson (ankle), Jase McClellan (foot) and Grady Jarrett (knee) at practice today.

Grady Jarrett’s absence is expected. We are still several months from the start of the season, and he’s coming off a torn ACL that he suffered in late October. Jarrett is a physical specimen that can recover faster than most, but it’s going to be a little while before we see him back at 100%.
Jase McClellan was also out during rookie minicamp with a foot injury. The severity is unknown, but the Falcons felt comfortable enough drafting him just a few weeks ago, so it’s hard to imagine it being a serious issue unless it happened between the end of the NFL Draft and now.
The severity of Bijan Robinson’s injury is also unknown, but it’s fair to assume his absence is nothing more than precautionary this early in the offseason.
